The room was shabby. Carpets in the hallway and room needed to be vacuumed. The fitness center was out of order. The cafe did not have forks. Overall experience was poor - checked out after 1 night due to the lack of cleanliness.

Specifically, (1) I had issues with 4 sets of door keys, (2) The hallway smelled of someone cooking; it was pungent. (3) The corridors was unusually busy with foot traffic of people that were not guests of the hotel. (4) I did not feel safe, (5) My bathroom had less than a full roll of tissue available.

The room could use a deep cleaning but the beds and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable, but be prepared to only have one person per bed as they sag in to the middle. The shower was hot, so all in all, better than some hotels. It was cheap so you get what you pay for. I wish they would have told us before booking that the gym is out of service. The main reason we chose this hotel was because of the gym and promise of a hot breakfast. The breakfast was not hot, but one of the two mornings it was at least passable because it had grits and eggs. The other two mornings it was cereal, muffins, waffles (all the sugar and carbs) with cold sausage and cold potatoes. We will not be returning.

Super frustrated. Arrived to check in and discovered that my pet fee wasnt attached to origninal booking and that there was a weight limit on the pets. Because of this weight limit we got turned away at midnight and were not allowed to check in.
