Down to the Wire is a newly renovated condo just "down" Wire Road near the AU Vet School. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, each with king beds and their own private baths. Downstairs you will find a living room, which has a queen sofa sleeper, 1/2 bath and kitchen. The kitchen features new appliances with everything you will need to stay in and cook if you choose. A washer and dryer is provided as well. If you are looking for a place close enough to all things AU - but just far enough to have peace and quiet on the Plains, DOWN to the WIRE is where you will want to be!

Down to the Wire was very clean, modern and fresh! Decorated very nicely. The bed was comfortable. It had everything we would have needed if we needed it. Parking was easy. The neighborhood was nice and friendly. Being from Florida, and not experiencing this often, we loved the happy frogs croaking at night in the pond across the road, and the beautiful cardinal that sang to us every morning from the huge tree outside the kitchen window. The surrounding area was beautiful and clean. Everything was easy to get to. We loved Hector's Mexican Restaurant and Kroger grocery store. The Host was great. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to return to Down to the Wire next year!

Loved this place! I lived in this condo complex back in the 90s. It was very nostalgic! The condo was decorated very well and everything was very comfortable including the beds! Hope to stay again sometime!

We had a great stay here for Parent's Weekend! While the exterior of the building is a bit plain (nothing at all wrong with it), the interior was really beautiful! The layout was great and it felt bigger than the square footage would indicate.It was very clean, and my family has a high bar for cleanliness. The location was great, with about a 10min drive to campus, and easy access to local shopping areas. This was a really pleasant suprise, and I would stay in the unit again. Also, Michael was a great host and very quick to respond to my questions.

The furnishings were great. Fully stocked kitchen that had anything you would need. Bathrooms were updated and nice. The beds were hands down the most comfortable I have slept in! The owners were quick to answer my questions. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
