Koonowla Homestead is your new luxury accommodation nestled in the world renowned Clare Valley wine region. One of the most iconic and historic properties of the Valley, it’s the perfect countryside retreat or weekend getaway for up to 10 people. Within the grounds of the Koonowla Wines property, you will be a 30 second walk from the cellar door so can spend a leisurely weekend enjoying tastings in your own idyllic setting!
The homestead dates back to the1890s with the stunning stonework a feature of the house. Beautifully recently refurbished inside you feel at home as soon as you walk in, with picture windows and French doors framing the garden views.
The kitchen is an entertainer's delight with ample bench space, stovetop and oven, island bench and open plan to the living/dining area. A comfortable loungeroom features a large fireplace - perfect for those cooler evenings.
There are 5 Queen size bedrooms, two with sleep-outs offering additional beds. Two of the bedrooms, including the main have ensuites.
The manicured lawns and lovely gardens wrap around the property with stunning views to the vineyard and ample space to breathe in that fresh country air.
The outdoor pool (not heated) is at your disposal on those warm sunny days..
