Cozy, fully furnished, private apartment available for booking. This little nook serves as a hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still is in convenient proximity to city necessities.

Just off I-20

Sleeps two, but with only one bedroom - QUEEN size bed.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet, & sink, & is comparable to an efficiency. Many toiletries & all linens provided.

Wi-Fi access available & includes cable with numerous channels and access to a Chromecast for streamimg.

The space

The place is similar to an efficiency apartment, but is furnished with all the necessities. A private deck is available to you with seating. It is a perfect place to wind down from a long day.

This space is entirely yours, including your own, private deck.

Other things to note

Host owns dogs: 1 lab and 2 Belgian sheepdogs. All are friendly but sometimes the 2 youngest ones are barky. Mostly indoor but do go out to backyard to potty and romp around. Please keep all gates closed. Parking spot well marked.

Staying at The Nook was a Fabulous experience from start to finish! It was easy to find, located on a Beautiful dead end street with a designated parking spot for the Vrbo guest. Valerie had fruit and water for me upon arrival. I entered through my own door with key. The property has a den, kitchen, bathroom and downstairs bedroom plus a balcony with its own entrance that is just for this property. The view of the backyard area from the balcony is so Beautiful! I had my breakfast out there and watched the sunrise. Valerie was a wonderful host who is accessible if you need her but also does not intrude and allows her guests separation and privacy. Her home is separate from The Nook even though attached to the house. I cannot recommend this vacation home highly enough. I hope to return one day. Rose T

Great experience

Valerie was such a nice host and a great communicator. Her place was perfect for the Masters - only 15 min from Augusta National. It was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The patio was especially nice to relax on. The area was great in that it had several restaurants that were convenient to us but far enough away from the Masters crowd to not have long waits.

Great little nook

We really enjoyed our stay! The location provided easy access to dining, Augusta National and the interstate. The host provided thorough communication and the listing was very clean. They left us a fruit bowl and bottled water. They also had coffee and creamer available. There were a few too many fragrances for our taste but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

Aaah, perfect.

Perfect relaxation here in "The Nook". It was absolutely perfect for my stay in Augusta. Loved the 'tucked away' feel with trees around and I had everything I needed, although host was at hand in case I didn't. Slept peacefully oblivious in the comfortable basement bedroom during a strong thunderstorm. I would definitely book here again.

Don’t mind small but……..

Don’t mind small but Do mind that the property reeked of room freshener/deodorizer to the extent that my eyes and throat were irritated Do mind that the “bedroom” was in a basement location with no windows Do mind that the bathroom was on the floor above accessed by a narrow steep stairway and I usually have to use the bathroom twice during the night Property was an “in-law” apartment. Driveway and property were dark at night There were other outbuildings and ?tenants I slept only 2-3 hours each night and kept all the lights on because of the ambiance of the property Took photos of two cockroaches TV located on upper floor; no working WiFi in the bedroom area to watch TV or stream while downstairs On the positive side the host seemed like a very nice person and was responsive to questions prior to my visit.

The Nook part 1

This was my first visit to The Nook. I chose it primarily due to its convenient location, which did not disappoint. Centrally located to Augusta, Evans, and Martinez, but with a real country feel. I enjoyed my stay so much, that when I had a second trip to the area just three weeks later I booked a longer visit. This really gave me a chance to appreciate all the thoughtful details that the host Valerie has provided. This has all the conveniences that you need as a traveler, with plenty of space to spread out, privacy, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay at The Nook next time my travels take me to the area.

The Nook is The Bomb!

This was my second stay at The Nook in under a month. My first visit with only 2 days, this time I had 5 days to properly enjoy it Valerie the host has thought of everything. There are tons of little details that make your stay homey and cozy. The apartment is very unique, and tastefully decorated. There is a small but complete kitchen, a dining table, even a writing desk. A Chromecast capable television rounds out the main living area. Everything you need for a home away from home. Even though the location is so close to downtown Augusta and the other towns in the area, it's at the end of a road and really feels like it's out in the country. The perfect mix of privacy and hospitality. I will definitely stay at The Nookk next time my travels take me to the area.
