Great location!

Great location and beautiful modern simplistic rooms. Service was bare minimum good. Not rude at all, but also not super welcoming. Accommodating. The beds are comfy and everything looks clean. The standard rooms are spacious.

Too bad service wasn’t better

We went down this weekend for our birthdays as a couple in our 50s. The hotel itself is amazing and in a great location. Room service was nonexistent. They never came and cleaned our room. We had to ask for towels multiple times and they would only bring one or two towels never brought face towels after being asked several times never made the bed never cleaned the room never mopped or anything Very disappointing even after I told them room service had not come. They still did not send anybody to . We also decided to have breakfast on Sunday morning downstairs in the main area. It did not go as planned. A regular breakfast ended up taking almost an hour and a half to two hours. My food came out incorrectly. They forgot to order items. The weight staff was very slow and unattended. I was not very happy with the overall service of the hotel, which is a shame because the hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms are awesome

Cambria Downtown Austin Hotel located in a convenient location. Overall a great experience stated. The only con is the parking rate, quite high $55 (before tax) for overnight and only offered valet service. Luckily there’s options for self parking at Fairfield Hotel and Homestead Hotel (a little less, $48)-still pricey but better option if you preferred self parking.

Loved the big open views & balcony! The pool area was amazing too!! Having a nice kitchen and in room laundry was a big bonus. The surrounding streets felt dirty, probably due to the construction in that part of town and the wind. But the property itself was kept clean.

Staff was great. Everything was really clean. Great location. My only suggestion would be if you are going to close the pool make people aware. Part of the reason we chose this property was the pool pics. No apology, no real explanation just told it was closed and we weren’t allowed out there. And I had a kiddo and it was spring break.

I stayed here when attending a conference at the Convention Center right before SXSW. Ten minute walk from the hotel meant I was able to leave my car parked for three days! Very good food, nice bar too, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.
