I checked in last Monday to a room smelled/s like dog. There were dark dog hairs on the floors throughout the room and in the refrigerator/freezer. I spent over an hour wiping down the floors, kitchen counters, furniture and cleaning the fridge/freezer. [I was too tired/frustrated to bother with the cabinets.] The room has roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. A baby roach was on the bed. A huge one crawled across my foot while at the bathroom sink this morning. The water pressure in bathroom sink is extremely low. Front desk staff said the water pressure throughout this hotel is very low. [Why don't they fix that?] No sink stoppers or screens in the bathroom sink and tub. Shower curtain keeps swinging down, preventing the curtain from remaining closed. The Internet is slow and choppy. It kept going out all weekend, disrupting my work deadlines. I had to buy Lysol disinfectant spray to mitigate the dog smell, especially around the bed support and had to get new bed pillows from the front desk. The ones on the bed smelled like dog/musty. Microwave has rusty exposed metal inside the lower back of the oven. I won't use it for safety reasons. Front desk if always out of clean towels. I have photos and videos. The front entry of the room is very dirty. Some front desk staff are rude and indifferent to my room issues and complaints. What am I paying for?

They were understaffed. At one point our bathroom door got locked up, went to the office to ask for help, but they said sorry, no maintenance people available, plus they didnt have time right away becase they were busy checking in other people... so I had to go to the hardware store, buy a screwdriver and unlock the door myself.

The stairs to my room were broken, so I had to walk to the other staircase to get to my room. Also, the whole place just had unsafe vibes, as well as the place around. The room was clean but some things felt a little sticky from the cleaners. Also my door had a weird opening at the bottom, like to door was pushed in a bit or kicked so during the day, sunlight came in (Room 255). I was terrified that anyone could put something through that to try to open my door at night or bugs come in. I wanted to be ok and just brave it for the one night, but honestly, I ended up leaving and not even staying. I think if you’re trying to save money and anything will do, or you’re a guy on a budget, that’s fine stay here. If you’re a girl on a budget, girl, choose a safer place and get out of here. This is a no for you. Also, when you come in the room is hot and smells a little weird because you have to turn the AC on and it does take a while.

The staff was VERY kind so this review is nothing against them. There are chain restaurants in the same parking lot which was nice, but the area was a little sketchy. I didn’t feel safe to walk my dogs alone because of a few guys who stared much too long and seemed to be loitering. The dog fee was $10 per night for up to 2 dogs which was great, and we were also charged a $4 utility fee (I have never heard of this type of fee before so it caught me off guard). Our room had an enormous spider (I think it was a young tarantula) crawl out across my feet in the bathroom and the next day I saw a roach in the shower. We only stayed for 2 nights so to see bugs on both days was concerning. The floor was very dirty, my feet turned dark after walking barefoot through the room. We found a bloodstain on the bedsheets as we were preparing to check out, so it made me question how deeply the room had been cleaned before us checking in. Having a fridge/freezer was nice. There was a microwave and 2 high top chairs (with crumbs on both seats) in the room. I don’t know.. the hotel was fine in a pinch but not sure I would stay here again.

Room was good. Like the fact that it is dog friendly, and when the dogs need to be taken out in the late night, or early morning, the parking lot is lit up very well. Check in and out was simple. Plenty of shopping places around if needed. Will stay again.
