The Charter has no in door ski lockers. Ski boots are stored in your condo which for a family of 6 is difficult. Skis are stored outside in temporary metal structures and there is not enough storage for everyone’s skis. Our first night we had to complain to staff and they finally agree to store inside the lobby in a closet. Hot water was terrible. We had enough hot water for around 10 minutes of shower time. Again for a family of 6, 5 women, this was a difficult situation. We informed the front desk and discussed this with the assistant manager. He said this was the biggest complaint the receive at the charter. We stay all over BC and have not had this issue with hot water at any other properties. This condo is well appointed and appears as in the pictures. I just wish I knew of ski storage and hot water issues prior to booking

Great location and property

The property was very clean and the unit was well maintained with plenty of space. They had plenty of firewood and the kitchen was stocked with the cooking equipment you will need and plenty of dishes. The sofa sleeper is high quality but very firm. My only request would have been to have more comfy bedding with actual duvet inserts given the rate of the unit. The bedding is provided by the property manager and it was fine but the comforters were more like duvet covers but without the inserts. There were four robes which is great. Location is perfect - quick walk to the village and a quick shuttle ride to the centennial lift. The shuttle was very busy in the mornings but we were there the week of New Years. The restaurant was mostly closed when we were there so there isn’t an option for room service. Plan ahead to get groceries and or have dinner reservations in the village. Overall it was a great stay. The ski shop downstairs was very convenient. The TVs are not smart TVs so if you want to use Netflix or other apps I’d suggest packing a fire stick or chromecast or Apple TV. There is a also a small stackable washer and dryer in the unit. The view from the unit is amazing.
