Great condo with ski-in/ski-out access and hot tub
This place was great! I was a little skeptical about the ski-in/ski-out claim, but it's true. From the parking garage you can ski (downhill) to the bottom of the Elkhorn lift, and from the bottom of the Strawberry Express lift you can ski (mostly downhill) back to the garage. There's an equipment locker inside the building on the garage level, so you don't have to haul your gear upstairs. The interior decor of the condo is a little dated, but it met our needs perfectly. The kitchen has all the basics, including a blender, toaster and coffee maker. The hot tub was great--predictably busier around 4:30 to 6:00 each afternoon/evening, but it was never too full for us to join. This condo isn't right on the main plaza in Beaver Creek, but it's only about a 7-min walk away. For us that was a perfect balance of quiet retreat and easy access to food and entertainment. Access was easy for us, although there are (at least) four different codes to remember--one for the building exterior entrances, one for the condo, one for the hot tub area and one for the hot tub cover. You can access these through the guest portal, but it logs you out after a period of inactivity--at least for me this meant lots of going back to my welcome email to find my unique login. (Yes, I suppose I could have written them down or taken a screenshot...) I highly recommend it!
