We did our best when renovating this house to preserve the look and show the traditional Japanese mud walls and beams that are special to a minka house The doors windows and switches are early 19th century antiques from England and along with the revamped tatami room and goemon bath you will feel like you have slipped back in time
The backyard is fully enclosed with a hot stone pizza oven gas BBQ and fire pit so you can enjoy the day in your own private sanctuary / AKIYA cornerstone

当日予約で探していたところ、素敵な宿に出会い、迷わず選ばせて頂きました。 愛犬もおもいっきり遊べてリラックスしていたことや、古民家なのに細かいところにまで手を掛けられてるインテリアだったり、家電や設備は新しいもので揃えられていて快適に、そして家族でゆっくり過ごせる時間が持てました。普段、忙しく働いてる主人の表情が緩んでいて、来て良かったなと改めて思いました。日常から離れて、静かな自然に囲まれて周りの目も気にせず時間の流れを楽しみながらの最高の旅行になりました。 タイミングや機会があれば、また利用したいと思います！
