The room was extremely hot and we couldn’t sleep and also the beds are advertised as soft but they are very hard. The building itself in the rooms are beautiful and the food was excellent.

Great location for the Chilterns. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Need to know that our room (10 - can't comment on the others) was very cramped - virtually nowhere to put clothes; but still comfortable.

Comfortable and well decorated room. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a freshly cooked hot option plus a very tempting array of pastries, freshly prepared fruit, cereals and yoghurt with healthy toppings plus cheese and meats if you fancied. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel coped excellently in this hot weather providing a fan in a room where to open a window would have too much noise from traffic. Everything had been thought through for comfort and the convenience of the guest, Breakfast offers great choices. Perhaps having other types of bread available would help those with allergies but that is the only thing.

We stayed for a night at the Bel & Dragon in Wendover after a Chilterns walk along the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough. The pub was a lovely way to end the day - the room was very nice and we had a few drinks and great meal. It was the hottest day of the year, so understandably warm in the rooms, but there was a fan provided, which helped with the heat.
