Mike and Julie, the hosts, would go out of their way for you, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were great, a good choice from the buffet, and the cooked breakfast, plenty of options - delicious! My husband and I will certainly be going back, providing his health allows. Away for work

This was a 1-night stay for work. Free parking at location, nice welcome from host. I was staying in room 5 (which is their smallest room) but it still had everything I needed including my own toilet and shower. TV was okay as was WiFi. Shower was not powerful. Was allowed access to the garden which was very pleasant at the end of a long day. Decaf tea and coffee provided (as requested). Some places within walking distance to eat. I walked to the Indian restaurant called Mela (20 minute walk), there were 2 pubs closer. There was a choice of hot and cold for breakfast (included in the price of the room), I had the cooked breakfast, which was okay apart from the very tough bacon.

Great value

While it is quite old fashioned - it was comfortable and quiet, and I slept like a log, with very nice staff. The breakfast was nice and freshly cooked with lovely fresh proper coffee. Downers - the shower is one of those very slow rate electrical ones.

Value for money, charming and comfortable

A lovely little boutique hotel in a very well positioned location in Buckinghamshire. Hosts kept us well informed of check in details in advance. Rooms were clean, comfortable and delightfully furnished and surprisingly spacious. Garden area very pretty and well kept. Breakfast delicious and very friendly service.
