I had a very pleasant stay at the Abbotsford Hotel in Ayr. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was straightforward. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The hotel has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and breakfast was enjoyable with a decent range of options. The location was convenient for getting around Ayr without any hassle. Overall, it was a solid, comfortable stay that offered good value for money. I left feeling pleased with my choice and would consider staying again on a future trip.

Beautifully presented hotel. Rebecca on reception gave us a wonderful, friendly and professional welcome. Lucy was an amazing restaurant server. Both a credit to the hospitality profession. Room was fab. Nothing but positives and, to the chef, thank you for an excellent meal

What a treat to stay in this elegantly whimsical hotel! My stay in the Scottie Dog Room was top tier! Mary and Lorna (forgive me if I didn’t remember her name correctly) made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I had the incredible opportunity to attend their Murder Mystery Dinner and no detail was left untouched- the food, the company, the service and overall experience was a 12/10. Cannot wait to book a trip back to stay here again!

This is our 3rd stay at this lovely hotel, I booked the Breagha Suite as an indulgent treat and it delivered on every level. I cannot recommend more and I will definitely book it again in future.

Overall a pleasant stay.

We appreciated the ambiance and tastful decor becoming of the building. We felt as an older couple the stairs to room 15 rather awkward and the room itself a little small and restricted. Staff pleasant helpful and breakfast good.

Gorgeous property. Spent two nights for a little break, staff were fabulous and lovely quiet setting but a 25/30 min walk into town which was fine - lots of taxis. Only 10/15 mins to the beach. Breakfast was amazing too. Will definitely be back!!

Staff were so helpful and very welcoming. Our room was small and on the top floor but was a lovely room with a lovely bathroom. Only issue was that the breakfasts may have been on the hot plate for a bit longer before serving.
