Welcome to Villa Bad Bertrich.

The house is located in a quiet area just outside the centre of Bad Bertrich; from the house, you have a beautiful view of the countryside. However, the centre—with its bakery, cafés, restaurants, parks, and, of course, the sauna complex for which the village is famous—is just a 2-minute walk away. Hiking trails begin right around the house, and the banks of the Moselle (Alf and Bullay) are just a 7-minute drive away. The tourist town of Zell is 15 minutes away.

The house was completely renovated in 2021–2022; everything has been updated.

There is a free private parking space for 1 car or 2 smaller cars, from which a footpath (with 10 steps) leads to the manor house. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom, a storage room for bicycles, and a playroom for children (available starting in September). From the playroom, you can access the rooftop terrace, which we’ve renamed the “kids’ playground.” It’s covered with artificial turf and features several children’s play items, such as a trampoline, a slide, and a real wooden playhouse.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a smart TV that has Netflix and a Chromecast. For colder days, there is a fireplace (firewood can be purchased at a hardware store). One wall is clad with oak planks that are 110 years old and come from a potato shed in the Belgian Ardennes.
From the living room, you have access to the new kitchen, which is equipped with all appliances (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and oven).
The kitchen is also connected to the dining room, where you’ll find a modern oak table with 10 chairs.
Also on this floor are 1 bathroom and a separate guest bathroom.
From the living room, you can step out onto the large front balcony. From the balcony, you can access the cosy little garden, where you can dine and barbecue (charcoal grill) amidst the mountain rocks in the background. We’ve also built a terrace for sunbathers.

On the second floor, there are 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have their own balconies. There are also 2 bathrooms here, 1 of which has a bathtub.

Important information:
1. A tourist tax of €2.20 per person per night applies to guests over 18 years of age; you can see this listed below under “Tax.” You’ll receive a guest card here, which grants you free admission or discounts at certain attractions and stores. You can also request a parking pass from us, which costs €3 per day per car. By the way, we have 1 private parking space. These fees should be paid via bank transfer before your arrival, and we will send you the guest card and parking passes via email.

2. Using the fireplace is very easy, provided, of course, that you follow the safety instructions. We’re always happy to help if you’re not familiar with it. You can buy firewood at a home improvement store, for example.
