Staff was rude and not accommodating. Was not able to use breakfast, in separate building and had other plans. Rooms were moldy and our room was next to lobby desk and very noisy, no rooms available to switch to and staff would congregate around front desk and chit chat and be loud and cleaning staff would start in at 7 am banging and slamming doors.

I am not from the area and drove into the property in the evening, it was dark and not much lighting for guests or drivers. I called guest services to help me with directions and where to park and what building to look for - she was rude (jennifer) and very unprofessional - she also hung up on me mid conversation. when i arrived to check in, she told me she would return because she was leaving to look for someone who was lost but it was me, then proceeds to tell me i was rude instead of greeting me or welcoming me to gordon lodge. check in and check out was not a good experience and she was very unprofessional. the room was cold, extra blankets did not keep me warm and i was not able to adjust the heat since it was maxed out but stayed cold through out the night. I also drove around for 20 mins looking for my room in the dark because there’s not a lot of lighting for guests at night and my friends helped me find it. the breakfast crew was amazing and the food was wonderful - that was my favorite part of the stay and the views are great! I took a little walk after before checking out and it was a peaceful experience by the water.

We had a great friends weekend at Gordon Lodge. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would have loved to use the bikes and kayaks that were available but didn’t have time. We hope to return.

Location is away from all the tourism hustle and bustle but convenient enough to get to get to all the attractions. Landscaping and grounds are immaculate. You couldn't ask for a better views.

The lodge is secluded and you can enjoy your stay without leaving the property, breakfast was very good. Restaurant had a great view and food was well prepared. Only concern was I was told their EV charging stations were capable of accepting EV adapters for non-Tesla vehicles. They have Tesla based chargers, I was unable to charge my EV with an adapter (Chevy EV)
