Pleasant setting in Balfour

Pleasant stay between Nelson and Kaslo. The hotel offers lake views on the opposite side of the lake but elevated for viewing. Nice balcony areas. Hotel is more rustic and quiet but clean rooms, free continental breakfast. More of a lodge than a resort. Golf course associated with it that has a small but tasty restaurant with more elevated options than expected.

Beautiful view of Lake Kootenay. Loved watching the ferry run back and forth across Lake Kootenay. The Ferry is Free, walk on and ride back for a free one hour Lake Kootenay Cruse.

Jesse was working the day of our arrival. He called to let me know the storm had taken out the power. Told us not to rush. When we arrived the power was still out but we had backup fobs to get into the room. It was clean and well laid out. Power came back on and all was great. Beautiful property. I would say Jesse went above regular customer service to make sure we were okay and happy.
