Wonderful room and helpful staff!

The staff was excellent and my room was very comfortable! I was staying in Baltimore while working an event at the Convention Center. It was an easy walk to the convention center for my event. Everyone at the Sonesta was helpful, from the valet (who helped mend my wagon to haul my items) to the front desk workers (who assisted my companion who arrived very late at night). I would absolutely stay here again!

A three night stay...

Initially the room seemed clean. But, I think the vents needed cleaning... there was black fuzz everywhere within hours. In the morning I had the one coffee pod that was with the coffee maker. The crew that re-made the bed didn't replace anything, used glasses, coffee, lotion, etc. or clean the shower. I was truly disappointed about the coffee. The second night the crew corrected the above. I am not sure if they ever vacuum. There was something under the desk that remained my entire stay. There was also a false fire alarm that said to vacate the building one evening. I ate in the restaurant a few times and they were limited to what they could do. The fryer was down, there were items on the very small menu that were not available. I do, however, have a compliment.... the linens (bed and towels) were great! 10 on linens!

This property is dirty and the door knobs for the hotel rooms are broken. I went to the front desk and they gave me a new room, which also had a broken door know. We ultimately left the hotel and found a new one.

The tub was so disgusting i was scared to shower on there the room smelled of mildew the towels and rags were so dingy i would never stay here again so many homeless people sleeping right outside

We had to stay there over two weeks recently after our daughter had a serious accident. The staff at this hotel are outstanding! From Brandon at the front desk, Dorothy getting us coffee to take up to the hospital and Ginny and the restaurant staff always being kind. The chef is a star and made a grilled cheese sandwich for our daughter as she hadn't been eating much, and it's her favourite, it isn't on the menu. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond. They were such a support to us during a difficult time. We can't thank them enough. Hotel Sonesta you can be so proud of the staff you have. God bless them. X
