The staff were very helpful and provided suggestions for dining nearby. The hotel is walking distance to the old town and other historic sites. It’s convenient if you are visiting the University.

Room was tiny and cramped. No room to work (no table), no soap in sink - just two tiny bottles of shower gel. No coat hangers in wardrobe, got trapped in the lift as it was broken and breakfast was very average.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including directions to local attractions and restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. And...........at a price less expensive than other properties we stayed at in Germany.

Close to the old town. Good sized room. Shower-bath. Air conditioning and lift. Close to the bus station. Very comfortable bed (but unfortunately it squeaked). Refrigerator.
