The staff was very friendly, and informative about events and to dos in the area. I was pleasantly surprised about how nice and spacious my cabin room was. My next immediate thought was, hey it smells nice!

Staff was great and location was awesome. Uncomfortable beds especially the twin bed. It could have used more amenities like a couch, table, and/or desk. It was basically a bed, tv, and bathroom. Also a screen door would have been nice because I could keep the door closed without locking it.

Motel was located across a river you can walk to. They had a free Christmas trail of lights. Tracey was amazing she had great recommendations and a whole list of things to do and where to eat. The room was big and adorable, comfortable and clean. Didn’t get to use the bonfire but we will definitely be back!

This place is very charming. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Tracy, the lady at the front was nice and offered plenty of information on the town. This motel is walking distance from restaurants and bars. Over all, great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Wifi was sketchy and thats the only way to watch tv is through streaming. Very convenient to downtown. Walking distance to shops, bats and restaurants.

This was our 2nd stay at The Vaquero. We love the place! The cabins are clean and spacious. The owner is always so friendly and helpful. It’s like coming to stay with an old friend every time! The Vaquero is centrally located and within walking distance to restaurants, boutiques and local bars. Our only “complaint” is the WiFi signal isn’t great so the TV buffers a lot when using streaming services, but that’s to be expected in small towns, I would think. The Vaquero will continue to be “our place” when visiting Bandera.

Great hospitality. Close to the town so we could walk to Steak Night. Friendly and accommodating staff. A little close to the road but honestly, we only noticed it when we were out on the porch. Once indoors, we did not notice. Nice amount of space in the cabin.
