Highlights: Great Pool and location far enough from downtown the air is clean so you wouldn't know you're in Bangkok while chilling. Shuttle service to Sathorn Pier. Brilliant breakfast buffet - notably the asian food. Great to enjoy breakfast by the water. Rooms a little tired, service was notably not as good as other hotels we stayed at in Thailand and everything here is INCREDIBLY expensive for the standard of the hotel.

A relaxing hotel stay

Had a lovely very short stay at the Anantara Resort before our flight back to the UK. The hotel was perfect for our needs. We wanted time to chill and relax after a busy multi country trip. The pool is lovely, as others have said an oasis in a big, hectic city. Well maintained, lots of foliage, complimentary drinking water, swim up bar, good table service, lots of beds and easy accessible towels. We even had a monitor lizard join us for lunch! Our room had a partial river view, balcony and a good size, cool temperature, clean and well maintained. Slightly dated but this wasn’t an issue, it worked well for our needs. We ate and drank in a number of the bars and restaurants and service was great! We travelled on the complimentary boat which was a lovely additional service provided. We felt like we were on holiday which was just what we wanted, time to relax. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you.

A true oasis from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Having the wonderful option of taking the complimentary shuttle was fun. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. And the customer service was extraordinary. We enjoyed Christmas dinner on one of the hotel’s dinner cruise ships and the food was outstanding and it was a lovely intimate atmosphere quite unlike the passing massive party boats on the same river. We felt very lucky we chose this hotel.

Great place to feel comfortable!

This stay was 2nd for us. Like the previous stay, this resort satisfied us again. In Bangkok, this resort is much different from others in the point that we can feel comfortable and cozy like inside forest. Of course the food and pool as well as service was excellent. If we visit Bangkok, we would like to stay again.
