I don’t now if all rooms are the same but mine was very old and tired, extremely dingy and desperately in need of refurbishment. Bathroom fittings were all rusted, shower was inconsistent at best, bedroom walls all marked, window frames decaying. I also had tiny mites on bathroom work surfaces despite daily cleaning. The gym shown on the hotel website no longer exists, although this wasn’t an issue for me, but the ‘swimming’ pool is tiny with four sun beds. Not that this matters as it is completely surrounded by high buildings so it doesn’t get any sun. The only positives for me were the location, which was close to lots of restaurants and bars, and the staff who couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful.

Ok hotel

Pros: Price Staff
Cons: Outdated decor and furniture/fittings. Bugs
Location: Closest BTS - Ploen Chit is about a 10 minute walk and I'm a fast walker. From the main road, there's shopping by turning right and nightlife left.
It's a fairly nice hotel but dated. Needs a bot of work done to the decor. It's most of the way up Soi 1 so it's a 5 minute walk to the main road and then further to Ploen Chit BTS which is the nearest station. Probably about 10 minute walk and I'm a fast walker. If you are walking with suitcases the footpath is narrow and you'll be on the road a bit and you will need to cross over the entry to the toll road if heading to the BTS. While the room was clean to look at there were these little bugs I noticed walking around on the floor. Not sure what they were. Either way the furniture needs updating and the curtains let the light in as they've seen better days. I only stayed 1 night so didn't have much to do with the staff but they were pleasant when I did at check in and out. My concerns with the hotel certainly wasn't anything to do with the staff. They held my bags for me for a few hours after which was good. I wouldn't necessarily stay again though the price was reasonable. There are other places I'd try beforehand. I actually booked this hotel by mistake instead of their sister hotel the FuramaXclusive at Asoke. This is the Sukhumvit one in Soi 1 - make sure you check that!

Pros: Close to Bumrungrad if u need to visit a patient or go yourself

Pros: In Sukhamvit and included breakfast and non smoking floor
Cons: Very public pool, near reception, limited TV choice and no free transport to the main part of Sukhimvit.
Location: Reasonable access, on the edge of nice area
Facilities: Ordinary, Certainly not 4 *****; Value: Acceptable price, Breakfast a bonus; Service: Helpful; Cleanliness: Hygienic , Neat; Certainly not the self assessed 4 star but reasonable value for money, but we did expect more.
