Overall a great base for Family Tourism

The Lancaster was a great base for our family trip to Bangkok. It's not in the perfect location for seeing all the sights but it is a good one - very near to Petchaburi station on the MRT blue line which went to all the major locations and we managed to see everything we wanted to from this location The only critical I have is that the family room while spacious, was let down by the glass positions between the rooms - that means if you have small kids like us you essentially have to sit in the dark while the kids get to sleep, or have them go to sleep in light. Not ideal. Otherwise we were very happy with the Lancaster, we ate there one night too and the Thai food was good, the pizza for the kids was a little undercooked on the bottom.

The Lancaster Bangkok is a beautiful property. It is well-appointed. It is a luxury property, but it is not snobbish. Staff are wonderful.

The hotel is beautiful with spacious, clean rooms, and kind, courteous, professional staff! Our fee included breakfast and it was amazing! The location was further from the central tourist area but quite close to the metro station which made getting around town quite easy. We loved our stay and would definitely book it again!
