I've stayed at this hotel many times and always have no problem giving an excellent review. However, this time there was a little signs that improvements could be made. The staff are great which is a positive. Negative 'room for improvement' comments : I shortened my booking on Expedia by four days very easily. But when I got to the hotel, my breakfasts for two people that I'd paid for in the booking had been cancelled. The booking ref hadn't changed. Even though i had the original printed copy of my booking, the hotel charged me for one breakfast every day and again for a second breakfast. They blamed Expedia. I thought it was very uncharitable considering the proof I had and the number of times I've stayed. Expedia partly refunded me after several hours on the phone but refused to admit their app was responsible. It's a common problem apparently but I thought the hotel handled it badly. Secondly, the Wifi in the restaurant didn't work 8/10 days, no matter where I sat. The staff couldn't solve the problem and admitted there was a problem. Wifi in the room was fine. As mentioned last review, the laminate floors arent as clean as the carpets they used to have, in my opinion. Perhaps a major issue for some people is that the TVs aren't smart TVs and are very old and have virtually nothing you can watch. No Netflix or Utube for example. I'd have thought a hotel on Sukhumvit would have smart TVs. Most of the others do. So a mediochre review but not without reason.
