The hotel is a small but nice and convenient one. Located in Silom road one has good connection to any interesting place.

Horrible experience!

first they couldn't find my reservation, they finally they gave me a room but there was no electricity, so I had to move to another room with two beds. There were cockroaches everywhere! No elevator, breakfast was very limited. The next day they moved me again. Don't think I ever coming back there

Okay if just looking for a clean bed.

This is a great area near shopping ,restaurants and stree vendors. Patpong night market is a five minute walk down the same street , and ten minutes to the pier. The room was spacious but on the tired side. Would not take much to make it better. Had a lot of trouble with Internet falling out but it did work well in the lobby. Porter tried hard to fix . Ask Male desk staff if you need anything,they were very helpful. Breakfast was poor. Okay hotel if you are just looking for a clean bed . We travel to Thailand often and you get what you pay for.

A little dissapointing

We found the hotel a little bit dissapointing. The location is very good, near to the MTR station and walking distance from Patpong but that's about where the superlatives end. The reception staff and concierge were rather aloof, we asked for a twin room and rceived a room with two twin beds joint together by one sheet eventhough the head of the bed was prepared for two separate ones. There was also only one duvet and one pillow. The furniture seemed rather worn out and the shower curtain had holes in it, Overall, it wasn't a horrible stay but nothing really special either.

superb location within business area

travelling to bangkok since 1993 found the best hotel so far around silom area very comfortable location friendly staff and very reasonable roomrents stayed there for six nights and going to repeat it again for sure on my next trip

It is a budget hotel

It is a budget hotel in a very noisy area with a bar next to the rooms. One evening they had a party with a very loud band that continued until 4 am. No lift and the bell boy not always available. The bathroom tatty and a pipe leaked and the floor constantly wet that was not fixed. The breakfast nothing to rave about and difficult to get a taxi because of the location of the taxi. The only good was that there was a Starbucks close to the hotel where I could get coffee and something to eat

Bad Attitude

The staff at Heritage Baan Silom seems to be on a professional mission to destroy Thailand's reputation as the Land of 1,000 Smiles. Ugly body language, no eye contact, tetchiness: generally act like they're doing you a huge favor letting you pay to stay at their mediocre hotel. The rooms are weird, too. Touch something and it falls apart -- which complements the policy of charging guests for said breakages, all of which are listed on a (rude) sheet they leave in your room at arrival which lets you know what you'll be charged for if you break or steal something. They even list a price if you nick a mattress. If someone ever removed one, it was probably to get it cleaned. Nasty experience overall. Caveat emptor. (Pluses: Sweet cleaning staff and good AC.)

Good value, separate hotel entrance off main courtyard, located in a restored heritage building, area is central silom district, BUT no traditional street eateries, some distance from MRT/BTS -- and heavy road traffic, area overflowing with tourists

Large rooms

Rooms are large, quiet and clean. High ceilings. Lots of places to see hang around near hotel but we stayed two nights and a full day, so we spent our time visiting siam and temples. Breakfast could be better
