The hotel is likely one of the best in Bangkok. The pool is very large. I stayed here for 7 days. It’s definitely worth choosing the club package to get access to the club lounge — especially if you’re staying a few days and need a quiet, comfortable place to work.

Fantastic stay & staff!

Amazing hotel with the best staff! We arrived early and were able to access our room almost immediately but in the meantime were given coffee & water while we waited. Room spacious & had a view of the pool. Definitely worth the upgrade to the club level room. Good location & m great pool…sanctuary within the city. Overall, great hotel & we will back. Thank you to the Sukhothai team!

Elegant and quiet

We love staying at this hotel: it’s our 20th time! It’s quiet, has a higher standard of clientele, the pool is great and the new spa looks amazing, though perhaps a little expensive. Great breakfast too. The staff are marvellous. Would love to see refillable toiletries instead of the throw away miniatures and solar panels to produce clean energy and hot water. It would be even better as an adults only hotel or at least with a children area and pool separate from the adults.

This is a great property. The staff is extremely professional, the rooms are very nice and clean and the pool is exceptional. Definitely go to the breakfast buffet. I think it is the best I have ever been to. Definitely a 5 start hotel.

The impossible is possible here

We just enjoyed a stay at this little quiet oasis in the heart of Bangkok. And booking the hotel and room with the Club Lounge access was a very good decision. At the Club Lounge you can for example enjoy afternoon tea and wine and great complimentary food in the evening. The service is just perfect with manager Pack in charge of his competent team. He can also help with spa reservations and everything else. Thanks. We had a few issues upon arrival but all was professionally taken care of by assisting manager Eve and Trippy. They made the impossible possible and helped us to a fantastic stay. We will choose this hotel again since we also loved the pool area and the great gym. And the rooms at the Club Lounge are great. We will be back.

Overall good, except one glitch.

The hotel is in general very good, particularly when taken into account value for money. There was one glitch during our stay. My wife went to the gym changing room in the morning one day to steam and sauna. When she went into the changing room she found out that the steam was not turn on so she went to the gym reception to ask for assistance. However there was no female staff on duty (only one male staff) so he can't really go into the female changing room to help but did told my wife how to turn the steam on. After the steam my wife went to take a shower but tried all three shower boxes has no hot water. She waited for some five minutes with the three showers turned on to hottest but still no hot water so she showered in cold water. Other than this unfortunate incident, the stay is overall very good. Staff are polite and friendly.
