Tremendous Stay - will return again

We had stayed here previously in November 2022 and enjoyed the hotel. On this occasion it was even better! Again, we had a well appointed room with club access and found everything to be ideal. While a large hotel, the team are superb making you feel very at home and more like a close friend. On any returns to BKK, we will have no hesitation in returning to the Sukhothai.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Sukhothai in Bangkok. It is a real haven in such a large busy city. The staff were great especially Pam on the Concierge desk who was incredibly helpful and Kratai who was so helpful for evening dinks, breakfast and afternoon teas. We had a fabulous room an executive suite so roomy and I loved the pool area. The breakfasts were also fabulous and the dining room is such a beautiful place to sit in and the staff could not be more helpful. It is an older property which has been designed so well that there is a great sense of space and tranquility around the hotel and grounds which is truly luxurious. We especially loved walking past the lily pond on our way out and into the hotel. We would love to come back for another stay!

Staff are all very friendly, approachable and professional. The rooms and facilities are clean. Breakfast spread was very good, with great freshness, and with a wide variety of items. Location while quiet, lacked nearby shops. One mistake was made in my spa booking, as it was never made known to me during the booking, that only male spa therapists were available during my time slot. I ended up cancelling my booking but my time was wasted.

This is a uniquely Thai experience you cannot find anywhere else in the world. I would definitely recommend it if you want to experience Thailand from the moment you reach the hotel, compared to a modern hotel you can find anywhere in the world and wake up in wondering where you are.

The hotel is likely one of the best in Bangkok. The pool is very large. I stayed here for 7 days. It’s definitely worth choosing the club package to get access to the club lounge — especially if you’re staying a few days and need a quiet, comfortable place to work.

Fantastic stay & staff!

Amazing hotel with the best staff! We arrived early and were able to access our room almost immediately but in the meantime were given coffee & water while we waited. Room spacious & had a view of the pool. Definitely worth the upgrade to the club level room. Good location & m great pool…sanctuary within the city. Overall, great hotel & we will back. Thank you to the Sukhothai team!

Elegant and quiet

We love staying at this hotel: it’s our 20th time! It’s quiet, has a higher standard of clientele, the pool is great and the new spa looks amazing, though perhaps a little expensive. Great breakfast too. The staff are marvellous. Would love to see refillable toiletries instead of the throw away miniatures and solar panels to produce clean energy and hot water. It would be even better as an adults only hotel or at least with a children area and pool separate from the adults.
