Very nice hotel in one of my favorite areas of Bangkok. Offers convenient transportation to the Emporium shopping area and its adjacent skytrain station. The problem I had with the place is that my native language is English and they had no TV channels in English other than news stations. No movies or sitcoms or dramas. I like to unwind with a little TV at night and couldn’t do so.

Stayed through Christmas at this property. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we had a connected room. Rooms look a bit dated and old, the location is nice, but far away from tourist attractions, like the Grand Palace. Breakfast was very limited for vegetarians/vegans. Nothing was marked clearly on the buffet. They don't seem to care to cater to Vegetarians, staff just looked confused and didn't do anything. Place was overly crowded and it gave a 3-star feel at the best

Not quite 5 star service throughout. Doormen rarely opened doors ofr us. Our room request about a high floor and view were not satisfied with inadequate excuses about other guests staying longer. The lounge offering for snacks and drinks was poor outside of happy hour and it wasn't always staffed. We waited over 1 hr for luggage to be sent to our room and had to repeatedly request it.

We had a good and relaxing stay at Valia and would love to come back here on our next trip to Bangkok. The food at Florae restaurant was mind blowing, with fresh ingredients and skillful cooked. We crave for their oriental grilled chicken, grilled lamb chops, pasta with olive oil garlic and basil, beef bourguignon and more. The staff at hotel was very friendly and helpful, we felt welcome and taken cared of every moment. The location is convenient, walking distance to many good restaurants, massage, and quick free shuttle to shopping malls.
