Upon entry to this gated community, take a moment to reset yourself into relaxation by taking in the stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the unique architectural character of the homes in this Beech Mountain neighborhood. With their tall stilts and whimsical roof peaks, the houses conjure images straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. Located 0.9 miles from Beech Mountain Resort and minutes away from the Land of Oz.

When you arrive you will feel like you are sitting on top of the world as you enter one of the highest homes on the East Coast! Let the glow of the flames from the fireplace calm you or lounge on the deck with a beverage in hand along with your friends and family. Dine al fresco as you watch the sunset around you. Look to the curved horizon to catch the sunrise with a hot cup up coffee and a good book with views from every seat indoor and out.

Inside this fresh and inviting 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home you will find a perfectly balanced modern and rustic space equipped with everything you need to just start enjoying yourself. Cozy up in the window wrapped living room with a crackling fire and good movie. With a large flat screen TV and free WIFI and cable, there's sure to be something everyone will enjoy. Hang out and all talk together as you relax and create a delicious meal in the fully equipped modern kitchen.

You'll feel as though you have slept on a cloud with luxurious bedding as you wake to the sunrise off the shared deck of the main floor bedroom. On the top floor, drift to sleep on the sumptuous King size bed in Bedroom 1 as you hear the gentle wind lull you to deep relaxation. Across the hall is Bedroom 4 perfectly suited for a family or all the kids together with it's King Bed and Bunk Beds. The Queen Bed in Bedroom 3 is cozy quiet on the lower level, but that's not all the lower level offers! Step into the 20's with the vogue Speakeasy/bar with card table for those seeking self-created fun. Or take a moment of zen and clear your mind in the dry cedar sauna.

Multiple parking spots available and one Electric Vehicle/EV charging station. EV charging station may be inaccessible during winter months due to snow.

Guest Access:
This is a private home with all areas accessible to guests.

The Neighborhood:
This gated community sits at the very top of Beech Mountain. Step off the porch and onto the slopes. This home is truly Ski in Ski out! Be aware, because of the proximity of our home to the resort, 4 wheel drive likely needed in the winter months. Chains may also be needed during severe weather or snow blowing. Please plan accordingly. If heavy snow blowing occurs, our property can be reached on foot by parking near the gate and walking the remaining 200ft.

Easy access to the trails, this home is perfect for all-season fun. Hike the vast trail systems, fly through the trees on your skis, snowboard, or mountain bike. Fish the surrounding lakes and streams, paddle board, and kayak. Make sure to take advantage of the free sledding hill for children 12 years and younger. Grandfather Mountain is a short 20 minute drive

Getting Around:
You get the best of both worlds with this private mountain house. It is located about 12 minutes from downtown Banner Elk, 5 minutes to Beech Mountain shops and restaurants, and within 2 minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Emerald Outback, and the Land of Oz. Make sure to check out the live entertainment, music, and events happening at Beech Mountain.

Other Things to Note:
Location is slope side. Getting to our property may be difficult during ski season. Snow blowing equipment may be running. 4 wheel drive is recommended during these times, chains may be necessary as well. In extreme conditions, guests may be required to walk approximately 200ft to get to our location due to snow & steep rd. Please contact us if concerned. No refunds for weather & accessibility
