The Hummingbird Suite is an adorable house with vaulted ceilings, excellent lighting, and pretty views out the back. It has everything needed including a dishwasher and was extremely clean and well maintained. I can tell that the owners take pride in their ownership. The location is so close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. I would definitely stay here again when returning to the area.

Perfect spot and only a mile from the entrance to Acadia. The space was quiet and we could truly relax between sight seeing trips. We loved the backyard ducks, geese, & chickens, beautiful gardens, and birds. I would book this space again!

Perfect location!! We planned our trip around being able to hike in Acadia National Park, and this space is perfectly located for easy access into both the East and West Sides of the Park! In fact, we were pleasantly surprised at how close the West Side was to the Suite. It's also a quick drive into Bar Harbor for groceries, shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect amount of space for the two of us, giving us exactly what we needed to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the geese and relax with a movie at the end of a long day of hiking. The host was terrific and responded almost immediately! It was a fabulous trip!

We had such a great time staying at the Hummingbird Suite in Bar Harbor. The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It felt really homey — I especially loved the view of the woods and watching the ducks in the back area. The comfy beds made for restful sleep and was a huge plus for me. The location was perfect — close enough to all the restaurants, shops, and the park, but still nice and peaceful at night. It was the ideal spot to come back to after a day of sightseeing.Check-in was super smooth, Donna and Kevin were so friendly and easy to communicate with. They gave great tips on local spots, which made exploring Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor and Desert Island got it we got iteven better.We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area. We found the Hummingbird Suites to be just what we needed for our visit to the Bar Harbor area. It was a very convenient distance from downtown Bar Harbor (less than 10 minutes) and general Acadia park access. We also took a trip an hour away to Castine to do a bioluminescent kayaking tour. The suite was clean and comfortable to come back to for relaxing, especially after we did a 27-mile bike trip one day, which we mapped out on the huge map in the suite. We enjoyed watching the ducks, geese, and chickens in the garden area and got to taste goose eggs for the first time since the eggs were available for our use too. Thanks for a great trip!
