We had an expected appointment in the Bar Harbor area and needed a place to stay for the night. The website was easy to navigate and the hotel is easy to find. They do offer parking under the hotel, but looks limited. Off season we were able to park right next door. The lobby and hotel were nicely decorated and the room was spacious! Loved the corner room. So comfortable and plenty of seating options if you did not want to watch tv in bed. The staff were professional and polite and they have COOKIES in the afternoon! Yeah baby!!! They have a restaurant on site, and the menu has enough options to cover various dietary needs. Off-season, the staff is limited, so be patient and enjoy the views. We would return to Pathmaker during the busier season for sure.

Breakfast was more than enough! It was so cozy and peaceful in the restaurant, we could wake up slow and prepare for our daily adventures. Parking is underneath the hotel which made it super easy to get rolling at 6am after a snowstorm. Also the elevator for parking headed right up to our floor, avoiding a transfer thru another area. Fantastic hotel, and great mid winter stay!

The room was very clean. The staff were all very welcoming and kind. The restaurant had amazing food and service. This was the coziest hotel. They also have fresh cookies, tea and coffee in the lobby every day. I would love to stay here again. Easy walk to everything you would want to do in Bar Harbor.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The customer service was truly excellent—everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. The breakfast included each morning was delicious, with a great variety of high-quality food that satisfied every craving. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's location is superb, conveniently situated close to Acadia National Park major attraction. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the level of comfort and service received.
