Jareth and Junior are very friendly and helpful and helped us get a cab to the cruise port. The property has good air conditioning and was quiet although it is centrally located. I would book another room there again.

The Hostalin was clean, very close to transportation, such a great area without all the tourists - walking distance to so many great shops, architecture:) Price was great. I would highly recommend they invest in some better pillows is my only criticism.

Great spot for exploring

Great guy on the front desk very helpful. Both rooms clean (my grown children had a disabled room - large bathroom and easily accessible shower although there wasn’t as much room in the bedroom. The hotel was on the 2nd floor in an old corner building. You gained entry by pressed hostalin buzzer which was located on the right hand side of the door, and the guy on reception came down to greet us.

The property was very clean. It had a nice big window and was on the second floor. They do have an elevator. It had a small balcony with two chairs that you can sit outside and watch the traffic go by. The buildings in the area had nice architectural features. It’s a little tricky finding the property, there is a small sign on the list with the tenants and the doorbells. I would stay here again. Staff was very friendly.

The room was good for what we needed and the price we paid. The shower head wasn't installed properly and you just had to hold it. Not sure if it's like that in every room or just ours. The staff was nice and helpful upon arriving and leaving.

Lovely place to stay!

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in a superior double room and had a great time! The hotel is clean, room was a good size and bed was comfortable. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great location only about a 10 minute walk from Placa de la Catalunya and we found the place easy to find (number is clear on the building and there are signs on the 1st floor windows and on the intercom). Almost no street noise when windows and doors were closed (air con works perfectly). Could hear other people moving about the hotel, but overall was a very quiet place and we had no issues sleeping. Would recommend this place if you're looking for something reasonably priced, conveniently close to the centre but not too busy/noisy. We would stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

Great host! We stayed in hostel during the new year's eve, rum was clean and spacious! We even got bottle of cava! Hostel was 10 min walking to the city centre! We really enjoyed staying there and recommend this hostel!

Det är ett bra ställe, personalen är vänlig, hotellet ligger nära tunnelbanan och busstationen, man kan gå till Barcelonas centrum, som ligger 500 meter bort. Jag vet inte om hotellet har parkering, de har ingen kylskåp på rummet. jag rekommendera hotellet

Too noisy. They need someone 24h at reception

There wasn’t anyone at reception when I arrived, I tried calling all numbers provided and reception wasn’t answered (obvs) and the mobile phone was off. I spent more than 20minutes trying to find help until the guy came back. I think he was at another hostel so definitely not his fault, they should have someone 24h at reception! Or at least someone you can contact when you arrive. When I left this morning 7.45, there wasn’t anyone at reception so I just Left the keys there... It’s very noisy: the aircon/heater is also noisy and doors are thin so I didn’t sleep much but the room itself and the bed is comfy and clean.
