Beautiful hotel, all newly renovated! Fabulous location, right in the centre but no street noise in bedrooms. Roof top pool is lovely looking but freezing - I'm sure it will be nice in summer!

A fantastic stay!

We were the first guests to stay in our room in this recently renovated hotel, so everything was new and spotless. The entire hotel was immaculate. The staff was charming and helpful. The location was fantastic, centrally located in the Gothic District, with lots to see, do, and eat within walking distance.

Nice hotel, great location.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just off the cathedral square and on edge of the gothic quarter. We were warmly welcomed and provided with a map of the area by reception staff. It took 20 minutes to walk to the Sagrada and about 15 minutes to the seafront. The rooms have just been refurbished and are stylish, clean and comfortable - one of the best showers I've had in a hotel room! There is a mini-fridge, tea and coffee facilities (essential to us Brits) and bottled water was provided free of charge. Each night the bar provided a free glass of wine and cheese tasting which was welcome after a day of sightseeing. We didn't dine at the hotel as there are so many restaurants nearby but the menu looked varied and wasn't too expensive. The hotel is about a 7 minute walk to Placa de Catalunya making it handy for the airport shuttle bus. Although it's right next to the cathedral, it wasn't too noisy at night and the curtains kept out the light. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Most of the staff were lovely. Hotel was nicely quiet and we slept well. Very clean and well maintained. Spacious for a European hotel. We would absolutely stay here again if we visit Barcelona again in the future.

We stayed at the newly renovated room which looked great, however we had a few issues during our stay: the shower head was not working, we could not get an ice bucket from the bar- apparently they dont have, and the heating was not working properly and it was cold in the room. On the morning, from the heating system, instead of warm air, it was smell of weed comming out, which was not nice at all and we had to switch the heating off completely and open the windows to get rid of the smell. The service that we received from the Manager at the reception is not acceptable, she was rude and did not know how to provide a simple customer experience. Prior to dealing with her at the reception, we were served by a very polite and knowledgeable male, who was great (apologies we didnt get his name).

AWSOME hotel!

We stayed 3 days before our cruise and 4 days after. The friendliest hotel I have been! Melina, Jacinto, Laura and Sergio at front desk were beyond words. From recommending beauty salon to restaurants and tours to take. Amin and Mohammed at the door always greeting you with a big smile. This is the only hotel I will come back in Barcelona they were just AWSOME. Adding breakfast is a la carte and simply WONDERFUL!

Very clean, nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. We loved the free bike rental and took advantage of it! Also fun wine and cheese service in the evening and Wednesday night walking tour. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location in the historic and atmospheric Barri Gothic, steps from Barcelona Cathedral. Easy walk to Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya which is central to everything, 30 minute easy stroll to the waterfront. Lovely, helpful hotel staff. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

The hotel was lovely. The room and bathroom were functional and fairly spacious. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and was awful. It's the type where you have to constantly hold in a button for it to work. The included breakfast was plentiful and decent. Overall food options were somewhat limited for lunch/dinner. The area is pretty noisy at night.
