We arrived early (morning) from a cruise and staff stored our luggage so we could get out and explore. Our luggage was waiting in our room for us upon our return. The room was clean and stocked well, the small sitting lounge on its own private patio was the sweetest surprise...great amenity! Quiet and easy access as the hotel sits right on Las Ramblas. While there is quite a bit of heavy construction happening, we found that everyone was doing their part to make walking and traveling in that area as smooth as possible. We understand progress and work so this part was not a problem for us - kudos to all the businesses there!

Very friendly staff. The room was clean and of a decent size. Loved to open our window to La Ramblas. Their willingness to store luggage was so convenient. Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable.

The air conditioning which is a listed amenity did not work. The first half of our stay we were staying in 80 degree F room with no AC, and no ability to switch rooms or obtain refund or recompense for this near unlivable room. Unfortunately we did not have the funds to book another hotel, but the hotel made no attempt provide any reasonable compensation for a completely miserable first half of the stay. AC eventually worked partially, lowering temperature to about 73-75 degrees F with a fan they loaned, but we were never able to obtain a functioning AC capable room as promised. Would not book again.
