This experience left us deeply upset and offended. The lack of respect and the discriminatory conduct from your staff not only caused emotional distress but also placed us at risk of missing our flight. We are extremely disappointed and urge the hotel to take this matter seriously and provide proper training to your employees.
at check-out, a male staff member at the reception insisted that we had not paid for breakfast. I immediately showed him our reservation details, which clearly stated that breakfast was included, and explained that we did not use the breakfast service on the following two days. Despite this, he continued to demand payment. He then changed his claim, stating that we had underpaid the city tax.
We presented our bank transaction record as proof that we had already paid the full city tax. Nevertheless, he repeatedly refused to acknowledge the evidence and insisted that we pay again. This unreasonable dispute wasted nearly half an hour of our time. Even after we explained several times that we needed to rush to the airport for our flight, he continued to argue. Only after I carefully calculated the exact amount due and the amount already paid—showing that there was no discrepancy—did he finally admit that it might be a “system issue.” However, he did not apologize for his inappropriate, reckless, and discriminatory behavior.
