I am a repeated customer. This time I am joined by my daughter and so I booked a quadruple room. I paid more but the service is rather disappointing. I checked in shortly before 8pm presenting 3 passports for record. When we got to the room, the sofa bed has not been set up. All supplies including towels were geared for 2 persons only. We went out to dinner and back around 11pm. The room remained untouched. Both phones are not in tune. We went down to find out that there was a long line at the front desk with only one staff serving. Informed him of our need for the sofa to be set up and more towels needed. At midnight, no one showed up, with phones not working, I went down again (it’s a long corridor walk). 10 min after, a staff showed up who didn’t know how to unfold the bed. He didn’t speak English and was trying to indicate to my daughter that the bed wasn’t working right somehow. After 15 min or so, he managed to break the arm rest of the sofa and kicked out the bed! It was 1am then. The bed matress was all sunk-in and my daughter slept in a basin in essence. I shared this experience with the front desk the next morning, she was very kind to offer us free breakfasts. She told us that upon our check in, the staff should send someone to set the sofa bed. That is much appreciated. I still want to report this for the hotel to follow up to replace the sofa bed, fix the phone line and review the room set up procedures. Room number is 360. Thank you.
