The hotel is old and dated with paint falling off the walls. It is clear that the hotel is not very well maintained. In the room , stains were present on the wall and the handle to open the window was broken. In the elevator, the walls were scratched and the floor was very dirty. The hallways to the rooms had a strange smell of sewer with little to no ventilation present in the hallway. The construction was strange and the finishes present in the room and hallway were cheap. I was expecting something higher quality consistent with the quality of an NH collection level hotel given the higher cost I paid. Despite this, the staff were very nice and helpful at all times.

Room not as expected, supposed to be a premium room but major issues with cleanliness, room set up, faulty equipment, health and safety hazards throughout the hotel premises. Rude staff unable to haldle issues and requests by customers. Lacking attention to details.

There is no AC in this hotel, which for Barcelona is pretty essential. The room was so hot in December, I'd hate to think what its like in the summer.

We arrived at mid morning before check in time (3 pm) and they gave us a room. Staff is very kind. Rooms are clean and nice. They have a spa.
