I really like this hotel it’s small but it’s convenient for those who want to get around. There’s a bunch of food options that’s in walking distance and public transportation is really close (I recommend taking public transportation it takes you everywhere). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Only downsides were the wash cloth was really big and they didn’t have face (smaller) towels so it made it hard to wash up and they only gone you one. The “English” channels they had only played in Spanish, and I wish they had more options for the snacks in the lobby. If those things could be improved I would like to believe the hotel could be a 4/4.5 star besides that everything else was nice and I enjoyed my stay!

We did enjoy our stay at Niu Barcelona. The staff was very helpful. Our room was small but clean. The 2 downsides were no dresser or extra hangers for clothing (they did offer a few but we needed more for 2 people) and we faced the street which was noisy all night. They did offer ear plugs for the noise so we were happy about that. The location is fairly close to many attractions and we walked everywhere we could. I would highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind walking and the noise. We were told by our cab driver to watch our belongings while on the street. We never had any problems. Thank you!

La Rambla Raval is missing the diversity of restaurants that are available at the better known Rambla. The area is not that clean.

The staff at this small hotel were really friendly, the hotel overall was very nice, but could do with a deep clean of the bathrooms. The location to the main shops was excellent, however the area between the hotel and Las Ramblas was not pleasant and felt unsafe. There were a number of groups of men hanging around day and night in the square outside. This is by no means anything to do with the hotel itself and sadly appeared to be a recurring theme in Barcelona.

Hotel was amazing all around and the personal is fantastic!! BUT the area where its located is the worse area of Barcelona, (Called El Raval). We have been in few cities around the world(Even Medellin or Mexico City DF)and we never felt more insecure than this area before, is something that we cant explain in few words. I wish Barcelona authorities take some actions to clean up and take control of this area in the near future. Again, this have nothing to do with the Hotel amenities.
