Beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was amazing. Just a beautiful stay.

The hotel is very pretty and updated. Having a heated pool and hot tube open all year is a plus. The other amenities are an additional cost. What I was disappointed in was the size of the rooms, the heat ac are very loud, if your room is faces the expressway you hear the traffic and the room needed a detailed cleaning. Which is disappointing since their price point is about $80 or so more a night compared to other local hotels in the area.

We had the BEST stay here!! We are coming back. Everyone here is amazing. Best meal, room, Bourbon lesson & tasting! Keton & Mary were exceptional. Best sour dough this side of anywhere!!! They loved on our dog Aussie! The bourbon coffee was exceptional in the morning! Who knew you could find sea-food like this in KY??? Stay here-I guarantee you will love it.

The Trail Hotel was a gem, newly remodeled with all the amenities. The staff was hospitable, just sad I didn't bring my suit to sit in the hot tub! We plan to stay again when we revisit The Bourbon Trail.
