Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Slow down and let the water, sunset, birds and everything this lake has to offer rejuvenate you.

Located 30-45 minutes north of Buffalo, this cozy cottage offers expansive views of Lake Ontario. Experience a country feel, cidery, vineyards and multiple state parks, including Niagara Falls by driving short distance.

The Space:
The apartment is built over a garage and can be accessed by taking a flight of stairs. You will have one bedroom with a functional kitchen and full bathroom. The living room is furnished with sofa that faces the lake. Weather permitting, you are most likely to spend time on the covered patio admiring the beautiful lake.

The Neighborhood:
The house located on a dead end street with minimal traffic. Given the quiet environment any noise will travel far. There is an apple orchard on the other side of the road that’s managed by Black Bird Cidery.

Getting Around:
A car will be needed to get around. No public transport.

Please note that walking on break wall and the rocks can be very dangerous. There are public beaches in the vicinity that you can use for safe water activities. The guest assumes all the risk in case they decide to access the water from the property.

So where do I begin? We had such a fabulous time staying at this cottage. It was adorable and the location is to die for. You are so very lucky to have this little slice of heaven. The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed to enjoy our short stay. I would recommend highly recommend.Our long weekend was action packed with day trips (Niagara Falls, Buffalo, etc.) and visited the local town and even went to a local fair that was happening which was so much fun!We only caught one sunrise which was beautiful, but each night the sunsets were absolutely amazing. Just stunning! Our stress level was zero the entire time we were there which is very rare given our daily work schedules.This gave us everything we wanted and more and hope to come back up soon. Were wanting to possibly experience winter months.

The apartment was very nice with a wonderful view of the lake. The apartment was clean and had the basics needed for cooking. We were booked for a week's stay, but there were not enough hand towels, wash cloths, or kitchen towels adequate for that length of stay. Also, the garbage cans were full. There were no basic instructions or information provided on site, including details on local restaurants, grocery stores, internet access, or the checkout process. There is a washer-dryer combo in the bedroom closet, but it is either broken or use is not permitted. When contacted, the owner responded promptly with information on accessing the internet. He responded to the towel shortage issue and the garbage issue, but took no action. Great place for a long weekend, but I wouldn't recomend a longer stay.

Waterfront Stay on Lake Ontario next to small park

The view was beautiful. As stated this area has some bugs, so be prepared some sprays and repellents. The nearby park is beautiful and it has two small charcoal grills. The house is above a garage so you need to walk up steps to get to the entrance. Inside is a K-cup machine and simple kitchen essentials. Place was clean, linens and towels were provided and there was WiFi available
