Decent rooms for the price, staff were friendly. Website offered late checkout. I tried to arrange this at the hotel as I had exams and needed extra time to pack. Was told this wasn’t possible. No one had booked my room for the following night but because my room was popular and might be booked I couldn’t pay to have a late checkout. So thanks to some imaginary customer who would want to stay last minute on a Sunday night in Barrie but also would be there before 3 PM, I couldn’t do a late checkout. Was told on arrival that rooms would only be cleaned and given fresh towels/sheets on request. I requested that this was done for both days I was staying there. No one came by, had to bother the poor housekeeping woman for towels when she was in the middle of cleaning other rooms. She also appeared to be the only housekeeping staff member and she was incredibly kind and very apologetic. I also had to call down for more toiletries as no one came by my room. The lack of room care and opportunity for late checkout was frustrating. I have no issues with the staff as I am sure they were only doing as instructed by their corporate manager and they were as helpful as possible.

The property was clean, staff were friendly. Breakfast was good but the area was small. The noise in the hotel was bad. We had children running up and down the halls at 10pm.
