15 kilometres away from the middle of Barrine is the Atherton Rainforest Motor Inn. The Atherton Hotel can be found 16 kilometres away. Two more hotels on Wotif are the BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park and the Canopy Rainforest Treehouses and Wildlife Sanctuary.

You'd be crazy to leave Barrine without exploring all the other fabulous attractions on offer in Tropical North Queensland. Tropical North Queensland is marked by beaches, rainforest, streams and tablelands, along with common Tropical North Queensland tourist attractions like the art galleries. More active types can also try their hand at rock climbing in this part of Australia.

Yungaburra is located 5 kilometres to the southwest of Barrine. While here, you can experience the Crater Lakes National Park.
