Cozy and Comfortable Getaway Near Bryce Resort with Responsive Host

This is a great home in a quiet neighborhood and only a few minutes drive to Bryce Resort. We stayed here for the week of Christmas and there was a tree set up, which added to the festivities. We were a total of 5 adults and 2 kids (5 and 12) and felt like there was plenty of room for our whole group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The dining table can easily accommodate a crowd of 6-8. The kitchen is a little small if you're planning to do lots of cooking, but is well stocked. The bonus/TV room was nice for a little extra space to spread out. Stanley, the host, is easy to get a hold of and was very responsive to our questions. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay!

Nice location, clean property

We had 5 adults staying, just passing through from NY and this made more sense than 3 hotel rooms. Everything was very clean and we loved the treehouse like feel from the living room and deck. Kitchen has almost everything we needed. We did reheat leftovers for dinner and made breakfast...it is a 1 person kitchen reall. Stopped at the nearby convenience store for basics and the restaurant next door looked fun with live music. Downtown Woodstock was cute to walk around and get some cans of local beer to take back with us. Lots of wineries in the area too.

Great to enjoy the outdoors!

We all really enjoyed our stay here. The large deck and outdoor area really let us relax, and we used both the grill, the gas fireplace table, and the fire pit. The property itself looked recently under construction and a few things weren't quite done, but it was very clean and well stocked so none of those little details mattered. There were 2 board games provided, so I would recommend bringing your own indoor entertainment just in case of bad weather. As for location, it's a 3 minute drive to a community store and a nice restaurant/bar with darts and pool tables. It's a short drive to Shenandoah caverns or the Civil War Museum, and about an hour from Shenandoah national park!
