Tannin Apartment (circa 1850) was once the separate outbuilding of a Georgian residence built by William Page. He established one of Bathurst’s first tanneries on this original block. His residence "The Tannery" is one of the oldest existing houses on the western side of the Macquarie River. The restoration of the main Tannery residence and adjoining Tannin Apartment was undertaken in 2012 by the current owners.
