Domain of Daspe

A perfect holiday get away, the gite had everything we needed including a beautiful view. We’ve been going to France for 20+ years and this is one of only a handful of places we would visit again.

Fantastic luxury gite

My family and I regularly visit France for our holidays and we can safely say this is the best gite we have stayed in. Of particular appeal is the outdoor space, with the beautiful pool, well maintained garden and enormous covered seating area all with lovely views over Marmande and beyond. The house itself has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard and is well equiped. There is plenty to do in the local area too, particularly if you like traditional France, with both Bergerac and Bordeaux in driveable distance, as well as the coast if you wish. I would not hesitate in recommending Domain de Daspe and we hope to visit again one day.

Mooi huis met een mooi uitzicht

Het is een groot en mooi huis gelegen op een berg met een fantastisch uitzicht over Marmande. De keuken is volledig ingericht en er zijn genoeg borden en glazen aanwezig. Er lag nog eten van de vorige huurders in de kast en koelkast. De oven en de wasmachine waren niet schoon. In de wasmachine zat zwarte troep in de rubberen rand, die hebben we zelf schoongemaakt. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn er allerlei personen geweest die onaangekondigd over ons terrein kwamen, zowel in de voortuin als in de achtertuin. De personen in de voortuin waren klanten en de eigenaresse van het kantoortje dat aan het huis vast zit. De personen die in de achtertuin kwamen waren voor zwembadonderhoud, tuinonderhoud en de eigenaresse. Wij hadden het persoonlijk fijner gevonden als wij op de hoogte waren gebracht op welke momenten welke personen op ons terrein zouden komen. Het was nu een verrassing als er iemand op het terrein was, aangezien het elke keer andere dagen en tijden waren. De privacy was hierdoor niet vanzelfsprekend.
