The hotel employees at the concierge desk are very helpful with calling share-ride for me, before I had an opportunity to install the necessary software and payment to do it my own. Breakfast buffet is enjoyable, especially when there are no big tourist groups. Not all items are cooked with top-chef skills, but most of them are pleasant to both the taste bud. Selections are not extravagant but more than reasonable. Most importantly, the place is clean and the service people are diligent and courteous.

Air conditioning and heating is centrally controlled, and is only turn on according to fixed seasonal schedule. This made the room uncomfortably hot during a stay in March. The staff did try to help by providing portable fan. With windows open, that helps a bit. But still very inconvenient.

The staff not professional at all . Request to extend our stay for one more day and they provide us name card to be contacted (sales manager) . At the first place we call the people on phone was asking like " 请问哪位" "有什么事吗" doesn't match the standard of hotel at all . Not to say 5 star hotel but 4 at least . Just a feedback from my side , the hostel service are better .

Slowest wifi ever and Google translator is a must

Me and my colleagues picked up this hotel since its closer to our client's office where we had scheduled a meeting. It was a short stay for us...the hotel room is quite comfortable and the breakfast spread is quite decent. On the flip side the wifi provided by the hotel is the slowest that I have experienced ever and all my colleagues also had the same issue and we had to use our international roaming data to complete our work. Nothing changed inspite of complaining about it multiple times in the front office. Also, except for couple of staff who can speak very little English, Google translator is a must if you need to request for any service. Overall, not happy with our short stay. Choose this hotel only if you are fluent in Chinese and wifi is not a requirement

Nice hotel in Haidian District

The hotel is like any standard Sheraton you would expect in the USA: nice lobby, good decoration, and clean room. Like any place in Beijing, good restaurants are easy to find close to the hotel. The hotel is not very close to a metro station, but you can get a taxi easily. It is close to Peking University and Tsinghua University if you are visiting those schools. The price ($94/night + tax) is quite cheap for a similar hotel in that area. Overall, it is a nice hotel for a short visit.
