Set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is a special place where you can wander for miles on stunning sandy beaches with your four legged friend, or simply relax from the comfort of your armchair and watch the comings and goings of life on this incredibly rich, vibrant bird sanctuary.
Presented in a classic contemporary style, the wonderful open plan living area has a light airy feel with a double height ceiling which adds to the sense of space. Flowing into the warm and ambient dining and kitchen area, this is a sociable space for entertaining or precious family together time, whilst a perfectly positioned telescope allows guests to take in the panoramic views over Budle Bay or a sublime evening sunset.

ACCOMMODATION This is a third floor penthouse apartment sitting in a Grade II listed former maltings mill. There is a secure entry system as well as a lift for ease of access. The accommodation sits on one floor.

Bird watchers paradise
A Perfect spot for birdwatching, aided by the fantastic telescope. Excellent location close to Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses for boats trips to see the puffins, Lindesfarne & beautiful wide sandy beaches. Modern property, well fitted out.

Can't imagine a better base to explore this stunning area
Immaculately clean, stylish and spacious (even more so than the pictures suggest) yet cosy apartment with unspoilt views across Budle Bay. Brilliantly equipped, everything we needed and more. A very generous and thoughtful welcome hamper and fridge essentials were provided. Very comfortable bed and complete silence gave us a wonderful night's sleep. Modern, stylish bathrooms with hot, powerful showers. We started every morning looking out over the bay with the provided telescope and binoculars - so much rich wildlife to see. Easy to find with plenty of stunning walks nearby. Just a short drive from the A1 with Lindisfarne and Bamburgh within easy access. Handy bus stop outside the apartment for getting up and down the nearby coast. Overall extremely high quality apartment... Cannot recommend highly enough. We hope to visit again very soon.

Great location but needs more attention to detail
Lovely apartment with great views towards Holy Island.
Just a few points that the owners need to be on top of. For example cleanliness could have been better and there were a few things that were broken and did not work.
Did not really affect our enjoyment of the stay hence high score.
Pointed out deficiencies to management and owners offered a discount on return visit. I think that the faults would be rectified soon.

Fabulous!
Fabulous views of Budle Bay from 3rd floor loft, tides, birds, sunrise, sunset. Fabulous modern apartment in 18th century historic building.
Fabulous location to Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh Beach, Farne Islands and many other must see places. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Budle Bay. The apartment had great views, and had great facilities. Great location as we were a short drive to Bamburugh and also short drive to Holy Island. Wish we could have stay longer.
