The swim up bar was closed during my week stay . The morning buffet breakfast run out of food and didn’t replenish food that ran out. I was charged a service fee for dinner when only two of us were eating. Waiter stated it was for landscaping. I let it go considering he was basically working by himself. The same night it took them 1 hour to get our food. There were only 2 waiters servers were working the entire restaurant. The person working the bar he not move from the bar. I also saw one of the servers send him to my table and he didn’t move to take my order. This is the same person that looked at his watch, it was 8:45pm, the night before stating it was too late to get something to eat. His co worker told him it was not too late. I was able to get my soup. The staff that I thought was excellent workers are Freddy and Santiago Caesar, the person working the bar lacks customer service skills. He was the one that refused to take my order and the same person that told me it was to late to order my dinner.

Hotel is clean and new and has a busy Casio. . Great hotel but restaurant is terrible for service. We had to wait an hour for wine and almost two hours to get served food.

The pool bar closes early - 6p I think they said. However pool stays open, we were able to go swimming at 10p and enjoy the scenery. Caesar the bartender was amazing - great hospitality, excellent service!

The Airline changed my flight right after I booked the room. I cancelled the reservation with in 20 minutes of booking and the Travelocity site directed to the hotel. I texted to cancel the recent booking, and they never responded,, just charged my card. After a bad day of travel, it was insult to injury for them just to charge it and not respond to the text. Bad form,

The rooms were very clean nice staff food was amazing can’t say enough about the staff they were outstanding can’t wait to visit again next year. Had the best taxi driver in Belize Greg the hotel was spectacular.

The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned and there were hairs on the floor and counter and it didn't have a hairdryer. The location was great and the shuttle service was helpful.

We booked a studio which is a bit small, but it worked fine for us. The restaurant was a great dinner option, and the breakfast buffet was good. The pool is fantastic!!!

The Grand Resort & Residence is a brand new and is not 100% completed. If you like Casino's then this is the right spot for you. The price is reasonable during the week compared with other well-established hotels in the area, which is why I tried it out. The rooms are good, and the Wifi throughout the facility is excellent. The infinity pool over the Belize River is a good size, but not for doing laps. Great bar, the Poolbar was not open during the week, which is fair. My minor points are, and I hope management addresses them, because I like the professionalism of the personnel. 1) An Airport Shuttle should be free and not cost US$30. As a regular Belize traveler, I called my own taxi guy. 2) The breakfast buffet is good, but please make sure it is warm.
