One of two apartments in The Victorian on Garden, a historic 1895 home. Perfectly located, just blocks from downtown's best restaurants, parks, and shops, this dog-friendly retreat will be the perfect home base for your PNW adventures. Enjoy all that Bellingham has to offer -from the mountains to the bay- and recharge in this lively sanctuary. With one bedroom and one bath, it is perfect for solo travelers, friends or families.
The Space: Enter through the garden and follow the path to your home away from home. The apartment features a spa-like bathroom and spacious living areas.
Enter into the charming, well-stocked kitchen, where you will find everything you need for a delightful stay. Whether you plan to cook a lot or just want to enjoy our fantastic selection of teas, coffee, and treats, we've got you covered. The full kitchen also includes a washer-dryer, which you will be welcome to use (laundry detergent included).
From the kitchen, head into the sun-soaked dining room. Make your own tunes on the piano or enjoy the view of the garden. The dining room is the heart of the apartment, with access to living room, bedroom, and kitchen from it.
Pass through the dining room into the window-filled living room. Pick a CD or record from our extensive collection and steal away to the airy, sun-soaked nook. Enjoy a book, meditate, or play Wordle from your private garden-view oasis. Catch up on your favorite shows on the RokuTV or gather with your travel mates — there’s plenty of seating.
Looking to rest? You will love the charming bedroom with a cozy queen-sized bed; it’s a lovely place to rest and recharge -- especially with our luxurious, local, spa-like, supple sheets. This bedroom also has its own TV, perfect for cuddling up and watching a movie or show.
Step outside the bedroom into the spa-like bathroom. The full bathroom is fully-stocked -- you won't even want to use the toiletries you brought. With everything from shampoo and conditioner to argan oil and face wash, we've got you covered. And, there's no need to feel guilty using our tree-free bamboo toilet paper. Be sure to take the opportunity to soak in the vintage clawfoot tub -- we've even provided local bath salts for you to enjoy.
While you are with us, be sure to enjoy the lovely grounds of The Victorian on Garden. The gardens are full of treasures -- from luscious lavender to towering bamboo -- every corner holds something of interest.
Guest Access: Guests will have private access to the apartment. The apartment is part of a property with 2 separate apartments -- each has a private exterior entrance at the rear of the house and an interior entrance from the front of the house. The apartments share access to the gardens and grounds of the property. None of the interior spaces are shared.
The Neighborhood: Absolutely in the heart of Bellingham, The Victorian on Garden is just steps from the best of downtown Bellingham. Diagonally across the street from our favorite grocery store in town and just a few blocks of some of the best brewpubs, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and bakeries in Bellingham -- you won't be far from anything. And, if you want to venture out to explore the area even further, the house provides convenient access -- it's not hard to reach hiking at Chuckanut, skiing at Mt Baker, or boating in Bellingham Bay. We'd be happy to provide our favorite recommendations.
Getting Around: The house is easily walkable to downtown Bellingham and just a few miles from Fairhaven. You certainly don't need a car while you are staying with us -- bike (inquire about rentals if you are interested) or foot will do. However, if you do have a car, you are welcome to park on-site. Please be sure to leave space for guests staying in the other apartement to park and access the house.
Interaction with Guests: While you may find members of our cleaning or groundskeeping team on site, guests are free to enjoy the property. If you need us, please send us a message, and we will be happy to help.

Quaint classic downstairs apartment
The Victorian is exactly that, a Victorian downstairs apartment that would be as well placed in New Orleans as Bellingham. The owners clearly care about it and put the effort in to maintain it and keep it as cozy as possible. The place is clean, with good quality beds, baths, soaps, oils, kitchen supplied with teas and coffee. The location is 5 minutes walk from the center of Bellingham. Really couldn't ask for more.

Perfect city retreat
I had a wonderful stay here with my dog! We especially enjoyed the outdoor lounge, piano, and lovely cd collection. The location is ideal and everything was thoughtfully appointed. I am very sensitive to textures, and the bath towels were among the most pleasant I have ever used. The blow dryer was also too quality. The kitchen was sufficient for basic cooking and the coffee and tea were great quality. The only thing not noted in the listing that is good to know is that there is a surveillance camera on the fence corner that repeatedly let me know I was being recorded. I found that disturbed my peace a little when using the backyard space. I think it is helpful for people to be aware so you are not started when it goes off at the gate, which is the only ingress/egress for the property.Parking is easy, the hammerhead coffee across the street has the best price in town on an excellent cortado, everything you need is in walking distance, the spot is a real retreat, and the Stay Bham crew is wonderful. Enjoy your stay!

Excellent lodging will book again!
The location was suprisingly quiet and the place itself was charming and comfortable with so many nice touches to make one feel at home. It was obvious the care that went into it. Its also centrally located near downtown and to many things while feeling privately nestled as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

Downtown Charming Victorian
This was our first visit to Bellingham and the home is perfectly located for exploring this charming city. We were within walking distance of the community food co-op and the lively downtown as well as a short drive from shopping and parks. The checkin was seamless, any questions we had were responded to immediately and we had everything we needed to feel “at home”. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cute, comfortable, and convenient
Came to Bellingham to celebrate my child's birthday and needed a place convenient to the College and Downtown that was also amenable to my dog. Super dog-friendly accomodations. Restaurants in easy walking distance, 5 minute drive to the dorm. It was quiet and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. I liked the sustainability, and the fancy lotions qnd potions were a nice touch. I woukd definitely stay again.

Great Location
Generally, an easy process. The location is in the downtown area of B'ham and makes walking about and exploring easy. Coop across the street makes goodies and food easily available and good wine selection. Single glitch of not providing email to use and password to access the FUBO on the TV for sports watching (we are football fans). But that was resolved with some effort and proposed corrective action initiated. Will book here again.

Perfect and Charming Bellingham Stay for 2
Emma’s home was the most ideal home for my partner and I while in Bellingham. It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and the location is exactly where you want to be in Bellingham - perfectly walkable to anything with a bakery and grocery store literally outside of the front door, and about 1.5hr drive from the trails at Mount Baker. The amenities were fabulous with a record player, piano, outdoor seating filled with fragrant lavender, kitchen supplies, tea/coffee and a shocking number of toiletries (local lotions, serums, and soaps that were incredible!) and towels. We stayed in the downstairs portion so we can’t speak to the upper level, but will certainly stay here again when we go to see my sister (a Fairhaven student) - next time with our pup!
