Comfortable hotel for overnight stays.

Pros: Very nice staff who spoke excellent English. Very reasonably priced, good restaurant, well located and very comfortable rooms .
Efficient check in and welcoming front desk staff. Our room was quiet and comfortable and bathroom supplied with tissues - a welcome addition as rarely have we found tissues supplied in hotels in Brazil! The hotel has a very good restaurant and we welcomed the chance to eat in at the end of a day's travel. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I became ill on our first night's stay and my husband asked for a later check out. This was readily granted and we were told I could stay in the room until our driver collected us at 3 pm to take us to Ouro Preto. This was very much appreciated and I can't thank the front desk staff enough for their kind understanding. On our return from visiting Ouro Preto we stayed overnight again at the Holiday Inn Belo Horizonte Savassi. We enjoyed yet another comfortable stay with attentive and efficient staff, good dinner and breakfast.

Comfortable hotel with excellent staff

Pros: The friendly and efficient staff and the overall comfort of the room and convenience of a good restaurant.
Location: Our stay was too short to do any worthwhile site seeing.
We spent one night at the Holiday Inn Belo Horizonte Savassi before visiting Ouro Preto. The beds and pillows were comfortable and bathroom supplied with tissues and toiletries and well laid out. The restaurant was good and the service great. Unfortunately overnight I became ill but the next day after my husband explained the problem to the staff at front desk , they immediately granted us as late a check out as necessary before we needed to leave for Ouro Preto . This kindness and understanding from the hotel staff was so very much appreciated. What a difference understanding, friendly and efficient staff made to the quality of our stay.
