The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. The hotel was clean and always well kept. Location is convenient to everything. We loved this hotel.

Staff did not explain late breakfast because it being a Saturday. Didn’t explain that there was some breakfast items in a bag for early risers. When we asked for one on the morning they said no because we hadn’t ordered it the night before. Check in staff was ok but morning receptionist unpleasant and unhelpful. All in all seems a place for groups who have a leader to guide them through the stay. Not a good place for independent travelers.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is walkable to the harbor and shops and museums. The room is comfortable and spacious and welcoming. The hotel serves a wonderful breakfast and good dinner - both complementary. We would book this hotel again!

This was a great location in Bergen. Great breakfast. There was an “employee” that was in the sitting area that joined our conversation and ordered drinks on our tab while becoming too friendly. It was odd. We didn’t complain to the hotel but thought it was unprofessional for her to do that.

I was told the room was ready but we would have to pay 200NOK as we were early.The room I booked was not the room I got and they wouldn't change it as they said they were all fully booked. No appology was made. Fika was served in a small room with only a couple of chairs. Dirty plates and cups were left even when a member of staff came to check on the room. Breakfast had a good range of items and staff in the breakfast room were attentive. The bedroom was a decent size.I did not like that the room was not cleaned at least every other day so would look more carefully at the hotel listing next time. The light meal in the evening was okay and was an unexpected extra. I would not stay again as I would like to try another hotel but I am sure others would as the location was very good.

Fantastic breakfast with lovely staff was a real plus. Reception very helpful on arrival. It was not obvious at first that you had to use your key card to use the lift but, perhaps, that was because we were tired! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much to all the staff.

Great quality and value

Perfectly located hotel near to Bruggen area and about 15mins walk from the railway station. Well appointed rooms and public areas. Bonus was inclusion of Breakfast, fika and evening meal in price. Can highly recommend.

Home Hotel Bryggen

The rooms were comfortable but ours was a bit too hot on floor 6. Skylights only opened a little way and the bathroom radiator permanently on red hot unless you press a switch that also knocks out the lights.

The hotel is in very central location, easy to go anywhere from the hotel, the hotel included for lunch some nice Fika (sweet and coffee) and later dinner. It was very good experience. The staff were very nice.
