The place was large, spacious, and as lovely as the pictures. It was comfortable for our group of 4. Overall it was a really lovely stay! You can hear into the stairwell if there is anyone noisy but the apartment felt very sound-proof overall. We enjoyed the neighborhood and it was very walkable to catch the tram or other public transit. Our group would recommend and book again!

Weekend break

We had a really nice time in Berlin, this property is so big and spacious comfortable beds clean and has everything you need for a break away. The bus stop is literally outside the front door. Lots of shops including lidl a short walk away. I'd recommend this place to stay.

Excellent place. Clean, great location. Good bathroom, kitchen, washing machine. Gorgeous floors.

Very good location, although 15 minutes to the Metro. But right on a bus line. Clean, with good appliances, and three comfortable beds. Highly recommend this place. Good grocery stores, restaurants, and bars close by.

Spartan but convenient

Spent a week during the Berlin Marathon with my husband and 2 other friends from Kenya. Perfect and efficient coordination with management to meet and get keys and receipts. Furniture is very basic and old but practical. One rather small (but brand new) bathroom can be a challenge when sharing...Location is not central but Berlin transport is unbelievable and managed to get in and out of downtown and airport extremely easily. Great to have dishwasher and washing machine. Kitchen could do with more utensils and items for longer stays (e.g. mats for dining and a microwave). Convenient and great small middle eastern restaurant downstairs and supermarkets within walking distance. Nice green park area not far from flat too. Bus stop meters away. An annoying neighbor complainingabout noise (our only fault being getting up early in the morning and spending time in the kitchen that is the only place to gather in - and guessing the floors are very “noise-conductive”). Room 3 by entrance rather small (good for just one person), large room (1) has tv and room 2 by kitchen smaller than in photos and pretty dark - has an old sofa-bed that could be used. Internet was a bit hit and miss but enough for basic emails and FB/WA. All in all very convenient, good value for money and great management.

Appartement sympathique et bien situé.

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement spacieux et très bien situé pour les marcheurs que nous sommes (et par ailleurs très bien desservi par les transports en commun, donc très accessible). On voit que le propriétaire prend soin du logement et a à coeur de bien recevoir ses hôtes: l'appartement est ancien, mais tout fonctionne et tout est bien entretenu et très propre. Parfait pour deux couples d'amis, comme dans notre cas: nous y avons séjourné avec beaucoup de plaisir, merci!

Appartement agréable et spacieux près des transports en commun

L’accueil est rapide et parfait. L’appartement est spacieux (nous étions une famille de 7), confortable et sobrement équipé (mais suffisant). Les lignes de bus (à privilégier) qui passent au pied de l’immeuble permettent de visiter Berlin dans les meilleures conditions. Un petit supermarché Netto pas loin. La communication avec le propriétaire est simple et fluide. Nous recommandons !

Geräumige Wohnung. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermieter. Problemloser Check in. Küche mit Esstisch in fensterlosem Durchgangszimmer - der hier gerne aufwendig kochen u essen mag, fühlt sich da womöglich nicht so wohl.

Arm aber sexy

die Wohnung liegt in einem nicht so schicken Teil Berlins. Durch anliegendes Restaurant war im Hinterhof bis spät in die Nacht Betrieb. Die Wohnung ist riesig, das Bad leider nicht so. Ein Doppelbett hat sehr spartanische Matrazen und keinen Lattenrost. Das ist eher was für Fakire. Ansonsten hat die Wohnung aber wirklich Charme. Wer auf authentische Berliner Wohnkultur der 80. Jahre steht ist hier nicht verkehrt.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet appartement. Il permet de rejoindre le centre facilement en bus et en S-Bahn. Tout est correct et équipé. Une salle de bain pour 7 est un peu juste. Cependant, on entend beaucoup le voisinage et les rideaux sont peu opaques. Mais le double vitrage permet de couper le bruit de la rue. Globalement bon rapport qualité prix, on recommande

Wohnungseinbruch & grenzwertiges Bett, etc.

Nun ja, was soll ich sagen...Montagabend den Wohnungsschlüssel erhalten (auch nur nach mehrmaliger Rückfrage). Dienstag die Stadt erkundet und zwischenzeitlich wurde eingebrochen! Vermieter zeigte diesbezüglich kein gesteigertes Interesse (reagierte nicht auf Telefonanruf, SMS und Mail). Erst die (englisch sprechende) Dame, die den Wohnungsschlüssel übergab, hatte spät abends Kontakt zum anderen Vermieter herstellen können. Keiner machte sich die Mühe, auch nur ansatzweise nach dem Rechten zu schauen. Tipp der vor Ort gewesenen Kriminalpolizei: „Tauscht bei Ferienwohnungen sofort den Schließ-Zylinder aus“. Gegenüber der Wohnung ist ein Baumarkt.... Nun zur Wohnung: Das Doppelbett neben der Küche (zum Innenhof) hat kein Lattenrost; lediglich eine Spanplatte, welche bei jeder Körperwendung massiv quietscht verbunden mit dem Ergebnis, dass man(n) fortwährend wach wird. Bei der rechten Matratze fühlt man einige Metallfedern derart, dass man(n) morgens Rückenschmerzen hat. WLAN ist als Repeater, der auch andere Wohnungen versorgt, vorhanden. Jedoch so langsam, dass selbst der WLAN Speedtest unverrichteter Ding aufgab. Der Fernseher hat sporadische Aussetzer (kein flüssiges TV sehen möglich). Der Toaster hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung ganz o.k.. Hinreichend mit Besteck (Besteckkasten war jedoch sehr schmutzig), Gläsern, etc. ausgestattet. Vorschlag: Der Kühlschrank sollte mal abgetaut werden...abgesehen von der toten Fliege und dem Dreck auf dem Kühlschrank... Der Bewohner unterhalb der Wohnung hat sich 5 Minuten nach Belegung der Wohnung „vorgestellt“, verbunden mit der Bitte, doch leise zu sein, da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Wir sind lediglich - ohne Straßenschuhe - durch die Wohnung getapst. Ohne Worte. Der Bus zum Hauptbahnhof fährt vor dem Haus ab. Ein Supermarkt ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Neben dem Haus gibt es Brötchen, Croissants, etc..Den Blick auf den Kanal habe ich nicht wahrgenommen...

The flat was ok. We missed a mirror in one bedrom. The flat has only one bathroom. And for practical reasen a mirror would help the need for bathrolm. And the cleaningwoman called on the door before 1100 the day we should leave and we felt we had to leave quickly.

Very nice flat. Enermous beds. Sharming, very old stile furniture, lovely. We vere 4 people between 60 and 80. For me, the oldest one, the bath-tupe was a problem to get in and out to the shower. In Norway we very seldom use bathtubes in our days. And I also missed a good shair. But all together we were 100% satisfied.

Too expensive for what you get

We spend 6 nights with 7 people here. We were not very impressed although there are some positive points. The appartment is spacious. The kitchen is big enough for 7 people. There is no real living room, just a couch for appr. 3 or 4 people in the biggest bedroom. This means you sit at the table or go to bed. I think however with a smaller group one of the beds will be set up as a couch albeit in a different room. The location is not very impressive, on the edge of a so-so neighborhood looking out over a busy crossing. Parking is free but in the evening to find a parking spot might take some driving around. On the plus side, two bus lines stop in front of the house providing a connection to the central train station and several subway stations. And there are a few fast food joints and a budget Lidl supermarket in the direct surroundings. If you bring or rent bikes they can be parked in the communal court yard. Still, the appartment has some real flaws. Wifi is a complete joke with close to zero bandwidth. Count on using your own data plan or go without internet. In the kitchen you’ll be looking for a microwave oven that’s not there (in all fairness it wasn’t listed either but for the rate this place is going for it should be there). And even the electric water cooker was broken so no quick cup of tea for renters here. There is a washing machine but no dryer and also no place or device to hang any clothes to dry. So lots of wet towels hanging on the backs of chairs etc which makes it somewhat of a youth hostal experience. Although it sleeps seven people there were not enough decent pillows for seven. One wooden old bed is very noisy when you move as much as an arm and another (converted sofa) bed has a uncomfortable spring down the middle. In the kitchen the chairs have no felt under the chair legs to soften noises and there are loads of very creaky floorboards causing the downstairs neighbour to complain without us doing anything inconsiderate. All in all not a place we would return to.
