Very good hotel but loyalty is not rewarded

Third time we have stayed in this hotel and we are always impressed with the value, cleanliness and location, which is ideal for anyone but especially for LGBTQ+ travellers who wish to enjoy the local gay scene. We were disappointed that despite this being our third stay in this hotel, this wasn't acknowledged at check-in (for example with "Welcome back" or "Good to have you with us again" and I was very disappointed that ALL loyalty points are not awarded for stays booked via hotels.com – which feels like we are actually being treated as disloyal for not booking with the hotel directly, instead of the loyal Mercure guests we are. This means we will consider staying elsewhere on our next visit to Berlin.

This was a great stay for a short city break. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The only slight downside was that there was a strange noise coming from the air vent in our room, which sounded like trickling water. This meant it could be a bit annoying to sleep through, but I use white noise at night, so didn’t hear it! Also, no air conditioning in the room, which was a bit of an oversight as sometimes was quite warm in the night. All in all though, a very pleasant stay!

Very clean room with a very comfy bed and nice shower-room, and it was very useful to have a small fridge. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast, although at 25 euro per person per day it does hike up the cost of a weekend. There are many good restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.The hotel is right across from Wittenbergplatz underground station, so it's very convenient for getting around the famous sights. We would definitely come to this hotel again.

Good Stay. Good Price.

Marina at the front desk as extremely helpful. She allowed me to check in very early. Held my bags provided restuarant and food suggestions and was very helpful for anything I needed through my 3 night stay. The location of the hotel is top notch as well. I highly recommned and would stay again.

Close to perfect

We had a nice stay. I could have rated it perfect if there is no stair at the hallway going to our room. Very hard for us carrying heavy suitcases. It's not a joke to lift heavy suitcases in those stairs.
